ADC-VC727P Alarm.com Pro Series 1080p Indoor / Outdoor PoE Camera
The ADC-VC727P is a PoE camera designed for indoor or outdoor use. The VC727P is a part of Alarm.com's Pro Series of cameras, meaning it is compatible with Alarm.com's business analytics for commercial service plans. The VC727P is a great option for someone who wants a PoE camera that supports onboard recording with SD cards. The VC727P also features 2-way audio giving you the ability to listen to and speak through the camera. With this camera being a PoE camera, it works perfectly for those who may wish to use Alarm.com's SVR options. Please note that Alarm.com SVRs do not record the 2-way audio this camera features.
The VC727P offers up to 1080p HDR video recording but can be adjusted lower if you wish to be able to maximize your recording time. As with all current Alarm.com cameras, the VC727 supports video analytics, giving you full control over your motion capture and what the camera watches for. Another neat feature of this camera is the Perimeter Guard option. Perimeter Guard uses video analytics features to proactively repel intruders by flashing an LED, and creating sounds from the camera. By doing so, the intruder knows this location is under surveillance, and can stop a lot of potential break-ins before they even get to that point.
Onboard recording for the VC727P is done with an SD card inserted into the camera, allowing the camera to record 24/7 to that SD card. When looking to use the onboard recording feature, you will need at least the plan. This plan will give you the ability to onboard record from 2 cameras. If you wish to have more than 2 cameras using the onboard recording option, you will need to use the plan.
The Onboard Recording feature of this camera requires an SD card, the recommended cards can be found here:
