Up to 3 identical batteries in parallel or series connection
TIPS:
Before use in parallel and series connection, make sure both LiFePO4 batteries are “in sync” every now and then
- Full charge the batteries individually with a 12 Volt charger
- Batteries start off with the same state-of-charge
- Batteries form the same brand with the same BMS systems
Battery Spec:
- Nominal Voltage: 12.8V
- Nominal Capacity : 18Ah
- Voltage Range: 10~14.6V
- Dimensions (L x W x H): 7.08 x 6.65 x 3 Inch
- Weight: 5.2lb / 2.36kg
- Continuous Working Current: 20A
- Operating Temperature:
Charge: -4℉ to 122℉(-20℃ to 50℃)
Discharge: -4℉ to 140℉(-20℃ to 60℃)
WHAT TO DO When the BMS has shut the battery off for protection:
- Usually the BMS will automatically switch back on again once the conditions are safe (after about 30 mins)
- If the battery cannot recover by itself, try activating by normal charging method such as solar panel, inverter-chargers, AC charger, even a lead-acid battery.
- To make the BMS switch on again after a low-Voltage disconnect, the charging voltage must be 14.0 Volt or up, better to use AC charger.
For longer LiFePO4 battery life, we recommend:
- Keep the battery temperature under 45℃ (10-30℃ if possible)
- Keep charge and discharge currents under 0.5C (0.2C preferred)
- Keep battery temperature above 0℃ when discharging if possible
- Do not dwell the battery in a full SOC for an extended time
- Do not cycle below 10% – 15% SOC unless you really need to
- Re-charge the battery when you did not use it for a long time (When < 50% SOC)
