The LoRa™ Switch Type Sensor Adapter allows other sensors to utilize the wireless LoRa technology. The device can be connected to any AKCP switch output type sensor with the CAT5 cable. Once connected to the L-DCIM gateway, the data can be collected and monitored with real-time alerts on status changes.

The advanced LoRa technology is capable of broadcasting in low-signal areas up to 10 km in open space and 250 meters in buildings. The sensor is powered by an external micro-USB power source, with internal batteries for back-up support. The batteries are guaranteed a 10-year life-span and is only recommended as back-up in case of power outages.
